They can be read in conjunction with our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenhouseschoolwebsites.co.uk\/ofsted-checklist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free checklist<\/a> for schools which we&#8217;ll be updating shortly to include these details.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s likely that these changes will be further clarified. If this is the case, we&#8217;ll be notified and will highlight the changes here so just check back to keep up to date.<\/p>\n<h2>Contact Details<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>New:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the name and contact details of your special educational needs (SEN) co-ordinator (SENCO) if you\u2019re a mainstream school<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Key stage 4 results<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Clarifications highlighted:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>percentage of pupils who got a good pass\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>(grade\u00a0C\u00a0or\u00a0above)<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0in English and maths\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>from\u00a0January\u00a02018\u00a0you\u00a0should\u00a0publish\u00a0the\u00a0percentage of pupils\u00a0who\u00a0achieved\u00a0a\u00a0strong\u00a0pass\u00a0(grade\u00a05\u00a0or\u00a0above)\u00a0in\u00a0English\u00a0and\u00a0maths<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">percentage\u00a0of\u00a0pupils<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0achieving the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/english-baccalaureate-ebacc\">English Baccalaureate<\/a>\u00a0(EBacc) combination of subjects (this means pupils who got a\u00a0<abbr title=\"General Certificate of Secondary Education\">GCSE<\/abbr>\u00a0grade C or above in English, maths, 2 sciences, a language, and history or geography)\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0<strong><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">during\u00a0the\u00a0transition\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0new\u00a0<abbr title=\"General Certificate of Secondary Education\">GCSE<\/abbr>\u00a0grading\u00a0scale\u00a0we\u00a0will\u00a0base\u00a0the\u00a0EBacc pass\u00a0level on\u00a0grade\u00a05\u00a0or\u00a0above\u00a0for\u00a0reformed\u00a0subjects\u00a0and\u00a0grade\u00a0C\u00a0and\u00a0above\u00a0for\u00a0unreformed\u00a0subjects<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Key stage 5 information<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>New:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>If\u00a0you\u00a0are\u00a0a\u00a0local-authority-maintained\u00a0school\u00a0sixth\u00a0form\u00a0you should publish:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the\u00a0progress\u00a0your\u00a0students\u00a0have\u00a0made\u00a0compared\u00a0with\u00a0students\u00a0across\u00a0the country,\u00a0shown\u00a0separately\u00a0for\u00a0A\u00a0levels,\u00a0academic,\u00a0applied\u00a0general\u00a0and\u00a0tech level\u00a0qualifications<\/li>\n<li>the\u00a0average\u00a0grade\u00a0that\u00a0your\u00a0students\u00a0get\u00a0at\u00a0key\u00a0stage\u00a05,\u00a0shown\u00a0separately procedure<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>New:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>You must also publish any arrangements for handling complaints from parents of children with special educational needs (SEN) about the support the school provides.<\/p>\n<h2>Pupil premium<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Minor text changes highlighted:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>For the current academic year, you must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how you\u2019ll spend the pupil premium to <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>overcome\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><del>address<\/del> those barriers and the reasons for that approach<\/li>\n<li>how you\u2019ll measure the <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>effect\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><del>impact<\/del> of the pupil premium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the previous academic year, you must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how you spent the pupil premium allocation<\/li>\n<li>the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>effect\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><del>impact<\/del>\u00a0of the expenditure on eligible and other pupils<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Special educational needs (SEN) and disability information<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>New and clarifications:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>You must publish\u00a0an SEN\u00a0information report on your school\u2019s policy for pupils with\u00a0SEN\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>and\u00a0should\u00a0update\u00a0it\u00a0annually.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #333399;\">You\u00a0should\u00a0update\u00a0any\u00a0changes\u00a0occurring\u00a0during\u00a0the\u00a0year\u00a0as\u00a0soon\u00a0as possible.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The report must comply with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>section 69(2)\u00a0of the Children and Families Act 2014,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>which\u00a0includes:the\u00a0arrangements\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0admission\u00a0of\u00a0disabled\u00a0pupils<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>the\u00a0steps\u00a0you\u00a0have\u00a0taken\u00a0to\u00a0prevent\u00a0disabled\u00a0pupils\u00a0from\u00a0being\u00a0treated less\u00a0favourably\u00a0than\u00a0other\u00a0pupils<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>the\u00a0facilities\u00a0you\u00a0provide\u00a0to\u00a0help\u00a0disabled\u00a0pupils\u00a0to\u00a0access\u00a0the\u00a0school<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>the\u00a0accessibility\u00a0plan\u00a0you\u00a0have\u00a0prepared\u00a0in\u00a0compliance\u00a0with\u00a0paragraph\u00a03 publish:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>details\u00a0of\u00a0how\u00a0your\u00a0school\u00a0is\u00a0complying\u00a0with\u00a0the\u00a0public\u00a0sector\u00a0equality\u00a0duty-accessibility\u00a0plan\u00a0you\u00a0should\u00a0update\u00a0this\u00a0every\u00a0year<\/li>\n<li>your\u00a0school\u2019s\u00a0equality\u00a0objectives\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0you\u00a0should\u00a0update\u00a0this\u00a0at\u00a0least\u00a0once
